Sarah Velasquez, LPC Associate

You deserve peace. It can be hard to create space for yourself if you’ve spent your life being told to care for others first. Maybe you've been taught to ignore your own needs, leaving you disconnected from your inner voice. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—I’m here to help you create the space you need to heal and rediscover yourself. I’m passionate about helping people set boundaries in their work, families, and relationships, creating lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. I prioritize creating a safe, affirming space for our LGBTQIA community

My Approach
I'm a trauma therapist informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Attachment Theory, and I'm currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming and plan to pursue formal certification. I believe that building trust is the foundation of effective therapy, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel safe exploring your past.
